Hi there and welcome to my blog. For the next 12 or so weeks I will be blogging about all things 'newsworthy' in the realms of journalism. But more than just news, views and current affairs, I would like to dig a little deeper and assess just why some things are deemed newsworthy (and probably shouldn't) and why some things aren't (and probably should). More specifically to defend the role of journalists as a necessary and important part of the ever growing information exchange.
